THE BIG BUMP

Yes, Paige fell and bumped her head. Friday night we were outside and she saw a kitty. She went running to the kitty. Unfortunately, she cannot run as fast as she would like to and she fell. Saturday night Jed and I went to a benefit for baby Dax Locke. We were there 1 hour when the babysitter called to say that Paige chased another cat and fell. She said it only took 2 popsicles to calm her down (that's a good babysitter:)
Paige wanted the camera, she did not want her picture taken. The profile picture shows you how far the bump does stick out. Everyone who has seen Paige this weekend asks, "Did you bump your head?"

The little boy with Paige is Adam.

We are pretty darn excited about this next little person. Paige loves baby dolls and real babies. However, her very own baby brother or sister will be an adjustment I am sure. I know she will adjust beautifully.
Today I am 11 weeks. Yesterday saw Laura (my midwife), she said everything looks good so far. Paige and Adam and Jed all went to the Dr. with me. (Adam is one of the kids I babysit for. He is 22 months.) Paige and Adam were busy talking and eating more snacks - as soon as they found the baby's heart beat they both got silent and just stared at my belly. It was so precious.
Up until this week I have been feeling exhausted and would get sick feeling if I didn't eat frequently enough. By 7 o'clock at night I was completely done, usually in bed by 8. That seems to have passed now. I am starting to get a little tummy. It is kinda like "is that lady pregnant or does she have a gut" I did not realize the size until I tried to find some pants to wear yesterday and nothing wants to button. It is back to my stay at home mom apparel of work out pants and t-shirts.

First Post

So, I have decided to try this blogging thing. Our lives are filled with so much excitement it is hard to share with everyone. Paige is growing and changing. It is so amazing to see what new things she says or does every day. Our family computer is actually Jed's work computer so I get on when I can. I will try to do my best to keep updates and pictures coming. Right now I need to find the CD to reinstall the program so I can get pictures off of my camera onto the computer. I think this will involve a scary trip into our crawl space.
