After a big storm we went outside to play in the little puddle at the end of our cul-de-sac. That is when we saw the "hugest puddle" I had to carry the shivering, soaked little girl home against her will.

MATT AND NATASHA'S WEDDING WEEKEND
That is Paige flipping through the air. She landed so hard in the water her water wings flew off and Jed had to rescue her from the bottom of the pool. When she got to the top she wanted to do it again - It scared the both of us so much that was her last back flip into the pool.

Our kids really did have a fun weekend too, you just can't tell in this picture.We got to go to another wedding!! Weddings are so much fun! Part of the fun is getting to see so many people that you do not see very often. Matt is Jed's cousin, so all of Jed's cousins came to Galena for the wedding. This included 21 children ages 7 and under!! We had so much fun and wish we could spend time with them more often. Paige keeps talking about her cousins and asking to go back to the hotel to sleep so she can swim in the pool.

Notice the red stained carpet - yes, that is juice. I am hoping it will come out with the steam cleaner, just have not had the chance to try it yet. And, if it doesn't come up...just call it a memory then:)
Paige may be the friendliest little 2 year old around. (Except when it comes to her other 2 year old friends and her little brother whom she finds enjoyment in hitting, yelling and pushing them).
Yesterday we were at a pool in Belvidere. I just sat and watched Paige as she fluttered from group of kids to group of kids. She asked each kid their name and then tried her best to play along with them, then she was on to the next one. The last couple of months she has been very into names and asks every kid she meets their name and age - yesterday really got me because there were so many kids and she met every single one.

FUN AT CHICAGO PARKS
The kids and I have gotten to enjoy some of the big city. Jed travels 1 day a week to Chicago and the 3 of us have joined him several times. We do have fun, but I have decided that I am more of a country girl than city/suburb girl!
